As long as you backup frequently, then there is no need to migrate to
Outlook. I personally don't like Outlook and use OE almost exclusively.
But I'm well aware of OE's deficiencies, so I'm very careful.

store are compaction problems, which are reduced in newly released
patches
(see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2) and interference from other programs
such
as antivirus and antispam software that was not properly tested with OE
and
is known to cause problems in functionality as well as massive message
loss
(see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

So if you want huge folder sizes, then #1 backup frequently (which you
should do anyway to prepare for when the hard drive fails) and #2 get rid
of
any 3rd party software that could interfere with OE. That should also
save
you the cost of DBXpress. G

It will depend on how you wish to sort your sent mail? By year
Sent
2004,
Sent 2006 etc or To Work, To Joan? Create folders and rules then
apply them
manually on a regular basis.
