Default Importing messages from Desktop

OE uses dbx files, but will not open a dbx file if you click on one dbx
file.
The OE store folder contains a dbx file for every message folder in OE plus
folders.dbx, pop3uidl.dbx, and offline.dbx.
When OE displays the folder list, it uses folders.dbx to show the folders
used in that Identity.
If you open the Inbox folder in OE, OE uses inbox.dbx.
File, Open in OE opens a folder or a message.
It doesn't open a dbx file.

If you corrupt a dbx file by trying to open with another program, you could
lose all messages in that file.

The safest is to have no program associated with dbx files.

What folders did import and what do you mean by individual files?

I did remove the read only attribute.
I am not sure what you mean by include Folders.dbx when I saved them.

The other possible issue is that I changed the format as to what to open
them with and I am not sure what to open them with.

I saved messages to my desktop and a CD-R and am now trying to import
back
into my OE. I keep getting a message saying "not a valid Win32
application".
I have tried importing and and received some of my message but not the
individual files that contain around 50 to 100 messages. I appreciate
any
help.
