File Assiciation
As far as OE is concerned the settings for DBX file type don't matter. Even
if you set them to OE (msimn.exe) you still won't be able to open one by
clicking on it. Some other programs (like AutoCAD) use the DBX extension
and may set it. If that is the case you won't be able to open that
program's files by clicking on them until you set the association back. OE
just plain doesn't care.
Don't EVER open these files with any program that might make a change
anywhere in the file.

Hi. While troubleshooting an unrelated problem, I accidentally changed
the
associated program for the files in my OE store folder and don't know
what
to
change it back to. I have since made the program association OE, but
don't
think that's right, it's not the same icon that was there before (plus
I
don't remember OE opening whenever I clicked on the file, so that can't
be
correct). Can you please tell me what the proper association is for
those
files? Thanks.
Do you have AutoCAD installed?
