Default Use of BCC

The second friend, could have forwarded it on to you, typing your address in the To heading, and
deleted the heading from the first friend.
Some people can get very confused in what they are doing (LOL)

I have a question. I sent out a joke to my friends using BCC, as always.
Also, as always, I not only BCC my friends but also sent it to myself in TO,
as well, just to be sure that it was send without error. So, I get an email
from me to myself.

One of those BCC friends sent it on to yet more friends. One of my friend's
friends then accidentaly sent me an email in response (thinking she was
actually sending it to our shared friend).

My question is this. The email included in her accidental email reply to me
showed both TO and FROM headers as MY email address, not that of my friend
or our shared friend.

How could that be?? Thanks.

Lar
