Default Newsgroups

Because they already have one and corporations, the primary users of Outlook
(80% is the figure I heard) don't want their employees browsing
alt.sex.gerbils at work.

After furious head scratching, Pete Z asked:

| Hi Milly,
|
| Just curious, why doesnt Microsoft embed a good news reader within
| Outlook itself ?

|| The same way as always - it uses Outlook Express for news. Issues
|| with the
|| betas can be posted to the relevant Office groups as many of us are
|| official
|| beta testers and can help with your experiences.
||
|| Outlook never had a news reader and probably never will - it will
|| continue to use your default news reader program.
