Default why i can send email but cannot receive from exchange server?

Since Office 2007 beta does not support Exchange 5.5, it sometimes detects
the Exchange 2000 server to be 5.5 and refuses to connect. This is a known
bug and can be temporarily fixed by manually rentering your configuration
settings for Outlook/Exchange server. Also you can click repair if your
Outlook settings were automatically configured.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without

After furious head scratching, trey asked:

| I updated my office from 2003 to 2007, but I found my outlook can
| send email but cannot receive.
|
| When I press send/receive, outlook will tell me "task microsoft
| exchange server-receiving reported error(0*80040102):the requested
| operation cannot be performed on this account".
|
| but I reinstalled the outlook2003,imported the .ops file I saved
| before updated, everything is ok.
|
| please help me,thanks.
