Default Outlook Express 6 settings?

This is usually an anti-virus (or Anti-Spam) software issue. It changes the
POP3 server name to "localhost", "127.0.0.1", or "pop3.norton.antivirus" in
order to scan the e-mail as it downloads. If this prevents you from
downloading mail, then the anti-virus software is malfunctioning. Check
with the anti-virus software manufacturer for update or configuration help,
or disable the anti-virus software from scanning e-mail.

I have set up four addresses for my family and we can send and receive

fine,
only we get multiple copies of the same incoming message.
When I set the pop.wanadoo and smtp.wanadoo bits in servers we only get

one
copy of each email, but these settings do not get saved when I exit the
program. When I restart Outlook Express the incoming mail server bit is
changed to 127.0.0.1, and again we get multiple copies.
