Your DBX file for the Deleted Items folder may be corrupted. Try closing
Outlook Express and do a file search for Deleted Items.dbx and delete all
instances of it you find (if running Windows 2000 or XP, all DBX files are
marked hidden by the operating system). Then reopen Outlook Express and
see
if the problem is fixed.

When I delete an incoming message from someone in my Address Book, that
deleted message does not go to the Deleted Items folder. It's just gone,
deleted. But....any other messages from an address not in the Address
Book does go to the Deleted Items folder. Is there a setting somewhere
that I must have checked to delete these messages without going into the
Deleted Items folder? I really want them to appear in the Deleted Items
folder as well. (my delete finger is sometimes quicker than the mind)
