Not that it's any help, but yes, I've had the same problem before. I
had it when network users were trying to access .MSG files on the file
server. User 1 opens it then closes it, and User 2 can't open it until
User 1 exits Outlook. I do know that it seems to be
Outlook-installation specific. On my old laptop, I could open and
close a message as many times as I wanted, but as soon as another
person opened it and closed it, I could no longer access it. Anyonoe
know how to fix this?
