Try posting in verizon news, instead of Google groups.
In order to do that, you have to look up their settings,
and maybe this link will work if you copy it and paste
it in your browser's address window:
news://news.verizon.net/0.verizon.em...ussion-general
It ought to pop up the group in Outlook Express.

Usually there is a telco-savvy geek eyeing it - you could
get your problem cleared up. It's not a public group.
