Actually, the web interface has nothing to do with spam control. The
spam control should be taking place on the SMTP server before it passes
email to the POP3 server, or on the POP3 server, itself. Once email is
on the POP3 server, it may be accessed by a web browser, or, if the
service is available, by downloading with a POP3 client; but the spam
checking has already been done.
