oe6 address book extract

Basically I need to 'tidy up' the groups. ie which people are in which
group. This will almost certainly involve moving some people from one group
to another, creating new groups and checking to see if there are any 'group
only' people ie those peoiple that are just a member of a group and do not
have a 'normal' contact record.
Just some house keeping really
I see. Your best way to do this is with the address book as it is. Just
open your groups not by double-clicking on them, but use the tree view
and expand "Contacts", so that you can see all your groups. If you then
select a group, the individual contacts of this group are displayed in
the right pane. From there you can drag and drop them as you like, also
CTRL+A works there, which Frank mentioned. Unfortunately, those group
members which have no "normal" contact record are not displayed there.
One should rather not use such, because of this very difficulties they
cause.
If you should not see this tree view, go to View/Folders and Groups.
It would just be must easier if I could see the people and their group etc
in something like excel
Unfortunately, the group feature of Windows Addressbook is very limited.
Maybe someone else knows of a way to accomplish this, I don't.
