Not really, since attempting to do so risks losing all stored messages.
Easiest workaround is just to set both computers to leave a copy of messages
on the server for 4-5 days and hopefully both computers will connect within
that time frame and both will have a copy of all messages.
(Tools/Accounts - Mail tab and double click on each mail account, then
click on the Advanced tab and look at the bottom of the tab for the option
to leave a copy on the server.
