Default Transfer Problems

Not necessarily. Even when data is migrated correctly, the Outlook Address
Book loses track--just another of Outlook's special features we all love so
much.

Transferred a working Outlook 2003 Personal Folders to a new
computer. I carefully followed the steps in the Knowledge Base
article. However, it is not fully functional.

For instance, in updating a Distribution List when I click on Select
Members I get the following. "The address list could not be
displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address list
could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not
have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder from
the Outlook Address Book ." (I don't want to do that.) When I click
on OK the Select Address dialog box comes up but it's completely
empty.

You migrated your data incorrectly. See
