Right click the column header of the Task table and selelct customise
current view. Bottom right corner are the expand/collapse settings.
Set to show all expanded. OK. Then do it again. No Really! DO THIS TWICE.
It's a bug that's been around for eons.

Thanks, Judy, but when I open "Customize Current View" I don't see any
settings for expand or collapse. I did find under Group By. I'll try what
you suggest and we'll see ...
