Default Replying to messages

Thanks Diane, you're right. No idea how it enabled itself, but that's all
part of the fun I guess.
As to did the recipient get the message, don't know but I can check on
Monday. Wouldn't I get a copy in my Sent Items folder? (for new messages I
do, but Reply To messages no longer generate a Sent copy).
Cheers

it sounds like you enabled the option to keep sent messages in the same
folder with the original. (tools, options, email options, advanced options)

Are you sure the recipient doesn't get the message?

I've used Outlook 2003 for some time and it's worked fine. Four days ago
it
stopped transmitting messages created using "Reply to" - instead it files
them in the same folder as the message to which I'm replying. A new
message
with the same content to the desired addressed gets transmitted. The only
rules in place relate to junk mail received.
Any thoughts?
