Default customized toolbars

That will reset the toolbars to their pristine state and the user can
recreate the custom toolbar then. A hint for future reference - once
created to the user's satisfaction, close Outlook and make a copy of the
outcmd.dat file for safekeeping. Everytime the toolbars are customized,
make a new copy. If/when you need to rename outcmd.dat to old to fix
problems, simply copy over your last saved version to the same directory
where you renamed outcmd.dat to .old.

After furious head scratching, Gary asked:

| I have a user on an IBM T-30, win2k, outlook 2003. He is creating a
| customized toolbar with custom flags. When he closes and reopens
| outlook they are not there. Would deleting the outcdm.dat file be a
| fix for this? Thank you.
