Default Outlook Web Access Through OE 6?

My company doesn't offer POP access to its Exchange server. However, It does
offer Outlook Web Access. Here's my question: Is it possible to set up an
HTTP account in Outlook Express that is able to connect to my Exchange
account at work by using the Web Access server URL?

I'm not sure if I'm explaining this adequately so I'll try to be more
detailed. I can access my company email through Outlook Web Access at

http://webmail.companydomain.com

I've gone through the process in Outlook Express of setting up an HTTP
account using the above URL and the appropriate credentials. When I attempt
to download the folders I receive the following error:

"Access to the account was denied. Verify that your username and password
are correct"

I've tried different variations of the username (companydomain\username and
) but I still receive the error. Am I not using the
correct server URL or is this just not possible?

You may be asking yourself why I want to do this in the first place. Well,
as I said at the beginning of my post, my company doesn't offer POP access. I
would like to be able to access my work email through my home computer along
with the rest of my email accounts and not have to log in to a different
interface each time.

I'm fully expecting to be told that this simply can't be done but I'd like
an official answer on it. Thanks.
