Default Outlook Express - can't receive

Well, that was an interesting experience. I got it all done, but OE still
acts the same. Thanks for the suggestion. Guess I'll just have to buy
another copy.

There is another thing you could try before making trip to fix-it place.

You could create a new user, when you do this, Windows XP will give the
new
user a brand new Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.

To create a new user go to Control Panel, double click Users and follow
the
instructions.
