Default MIME

Thanks, Jim. I looked to see if I had the option set to "Read all in Plain
Text" and it was not checked. Under the Security tab, I have checked "Do
not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a
virus." Could this be the problem? Should I uncheck it? I have tried
displaying the picture in the attachment with Image Preview, Viewer,
Imaging, Picture Viewer Application and other programs but none have worked.
If you have any other suggestions, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks,
Al

What program are you using to read these incoming messages? If Outlook
Express does not display graphics, it might suggest that you have the

option
set to "Read all in Plain Text" or may be blocking external images.

Check
your options on OE menu, Tools/Option for the Read and Security tabs.

I'm using Outlook Express with Windows ME, Mozilla Firefox, and have

AT&T
DSL service. I am using a Gateway computer that is about six years old.
Whenever someone forwards me an attachment in an e-mail and it contains

a
picture in MIME format, I am never able to display the picture. Is

there
any way that I can read MIME formatted files with Outlook Express 6.0?

I would appreciate it if anyone can provide any information that would
help
me solve this problem.

Thanks,
Al
