Default Importing from a Laptop

Bruce -
I'm not sure I see where those references address what I'm trying to do.

Lets say I have several messages on my laptop. I want to import them (that
is add them to what is already there) to my desktop, without loosing what's
already there obviously. Are you suggesting what I need to do is 'Backup'
the laptop messages, then 'Restore' them to the desktop?

I have been burned badly moving messages around in the past. I want to be
sure I'm clear on this move before I start.

Really appreciate the help

Dave

What is the best way to import messages from my laptop to my desktop? I
can put all laptop messages into one folder if that will help.

The last (first) time I tried this, I lost ALL the other folders.

Thx

Dave
