Default mail sending format

The CF card is treated as a hard drive, and the picture only needs to be
available until such time as the message is sent. However, try preparing
your mail while working offline and then send it to the Outbox without
connecting and remove your CF card. Send your message now and you will find
the picture will not be sent with the message since Outlook Express can no
longer find it at the file path indicated in the message.

Hope that helps make it clear what the earlier reply was about.

Am I missing something here? I send digital camera photos all the time
from
my camera's CompactFlash card using a USB connection. Then I may delete
the
pictures from the card if they're not worth saving and never transfer them
to my hard drive. Of course, the CompactFlash card "looks" like a hard
drive of some sort to the computer.
