Default Why does OE6 show an envilope in the right low corner, if it does not get a new mesage?

Thank you Jim Pickering for your reply.
I do not have any message rules that may be moving incoming messages to
another folder and do not have Blocked Senders in OE6.

Do you have any message rules that may be *moving* incoming messages to
another folder? How about Blocked Senders? Either of those will set off
the icon's appearance since you did have incoming but your setup is not
showing anything in your Inbox.

Hello!
Why does OE6 show an envelope in the right low corner, if it does not

get
a
new message? All folders in my hotmail.com and imap e-mail accounts are
not
bold. There is not a new message in my incoming folders. I use Windows
2000
sp4.
Best regards,
Dima
