Why do I receive repeat mails after logging on to different machin

In my office, we have about 4 four computers used by all employees as
common PCs. I have got outlook exchange and pop server configured on
all of these machines. Sometimes when I log into a different
machines, all the mails (I am not sure of the cut-off line), which I
have downloaded once on one PC, get downloaded again on the different
PC. Thus everytime I hit the send-receive button, I get multiple -
2/3 copies of about 30-80 mails.
Any explanation and solution?
The explanation is that no machine knows what you've downloaded on the
others. How can it? As far as it's concerned, all the messages you got
since the last time you used that particular machine are new and so
downloads them. The solution is to keep your delivery location on the
Exchange server and then all the machines will share the same mailbox abd
you don't have to worry anout "downloading".
