I say apparently becuase I haven't tried it, I don't have Office, I
can't afford it yet.

i know that this post is a bit of a delay to say the least. but that is
the proper resolve (atleast in my cases, multiple times)...
but after running the repair, uninstall/reinstall active S. i install
v3.7 and run the update to 3.8..
