Default Calendar Entries - ALT-based shortcut keys

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (Beta) (12.0.4017.1006) MSO (12.0.4017.1003)
BETA

Open Outlook, create a new calendar entry.
Fill the contents of your calendar entry and press ALT-S on your keyboard -
nothing happens.
Press Alt-1 and it saves.
Perhaps I should have been a touch clearer.

version of outlook?

in 2007, I know ctrl+s saves, alt+F4 would close.

ALT-S no longer save/closes!
I realise ALT-1 (or hold ALT and it numbers the shortcut options...) but
is
there a way I can have my ALT-S back? Or is there another shortcut for
Save&Close?
