I think it will be back.

ALT-S is still active in other components of Outlook, for example if you
bring up an email and reply - type your reply and press ALT-S it sends!

Why remove just one ALT-S? Doesn't make sense to me!

Or maybe I should have been - in Outlook 2007, try using Ctrl+S and Alt+F4.
Or just ALT+F4 and then Enter when the save dialog comes up. Alt+S does not
work - I don't know if it will be back - but Ctrl+S saves and Alt+F4 closes.

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (Beta) (12.0.4017.1006) MSO
(12.0.4017.1003)
BETA

Open Outlook, create a new calendar entry.
Fill the contents of your calendar entry and press ALT-S on your
keyboard -
nothing happens.
Press Alt-1 and it saves.
Perhaps I should have been a touch clearer.

version of outlook?

in 2007, I know ctrl+s saves, alt+F4 would close.

ALT-S no longer save/closes!
I realise ALT-1 (or hold ALT and it numbers the shortcut options...)
but
is
there a way I can have my ALT-S back? Or is there another shortcut for
Save&Close?
