SP2 Upgrade Issues
Are you sure you are looking at SP2? IIRC, it is listed within the programs
and not the updates.
How to remove SP2:

Thanks - Sorry I should have specified Outlook Express. That is the
program
I am using.
When I try to uninstall the SP2, among the list of programs is Windows XP
Service Pack 2. However unlike most programs, there is no option to
removed
the program. Usually change/remove pops up but all that pops up for this
is
Click Here for Support Information. Is there another way to remove it?

Did Outlook disappear, or Outlook Express? Two different programs.
Was your anti-virus program turned of when you downloaded the XP update
SP2?
If not, you may have not had a clean install. This happened to many when
SP2
was released.
Remove SP2 via Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. Then turn off your
anti-virus and download and install again.

I upgraded to SP2 last week and Outlook disappeared off my desktop and
start
menu. After contacting Microsoft, they told me where to find it. It
started
right up and had all my folders, addresses, etc. However, now two
things
happen:
1. Every email I get comes as an attachment and can't be viewed in the
preview pane - it is just blank. Even those emails in plain text.
Same
is
true for the newsgroups - they all come in as attachments whereas
before
they
could be previewed.
2. When I hit compose, I can type in the address and subject line but
nothing in the email box to write the email. I can't click there - it
is
essentially greyed out.
Has anybody had this problem or can suggest options?
