Default Incorrect error repoerting when sending messages with attachments

Try this....

Go to toolsaccountsmailselect account in questionpropertiesadvanced
tab.

See if there is a check mark to break apart messages above certain size.

You can remove the checkmark and messages will not break up but if you send
large files your ISP might refuse them?

To read a broken apart message select each part while holding the Ctrl
keyRight clickcombine & decode.

| My wife has picked up an interesting problem recently - when she sends an
| email with an attachment of type .wma, .wmv or .mp3, the message does not
get
| sent according to the send/receive dialogue, and reports an error.
However,
| there is no error listed in the error box. The message does NOT appear in
the
| sent items folder, but remains in the outbox folder until manually
deleted.
| What happens at the recieiving end is that multiple instances of the email
| and attachement are received (up to 7 messages with a 4mb attachment). SO
she
| doesn't know if they've been sent, and receives an error message, but
| multiple messages are received by the recipient. Normal messages and
messages
| with simple attachements (.jpg, .gif) are handled as normal, with no
| problems. Am I overlooking something simple, or is there something I need
to
| do?
