I am running OE6 under Win2000Pro, with all of the latest updates
installed.
I get lots of spam emails sent to a small set of TO: or CC: addresses at
earthlink, so I have created a series of rules attempting to control the
junk, but the main rule doesn't seem to be working. Here it is, in a clip
from the actual rule display in OE6:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the To or CC line contains
SNIP
Delete it
and Stop processing more rules
Individual messages are always downloaded and then deleted from the
earthlink server, so I simply want to delete them from my own OE6 client
as
soon as they are downloaded when they contain any of these junk email
addresses.
Is there perhaps a limit to the number of "or" entries in a rule that
keeps the rule from executing. I suppose I could have fewer entries in
each
of several rules, but what is the actual limit if there is one.

Move the rule to the top of the list and add the action to Stop processing
more rules.
