Select Names Sorted by Last Name -- Subsequent Problem...
Doesn't it make sense to look up names as they are listed in any published
phone book? Is MS redefining how phone books should be produced?
It makes no sense at all to have the dispaly name reversed.
All previous versions had the capability to select names for an email based
on a SENSIBLE sort order.
I will also post this to the beta feedback.

Clearly the option you request is not included.

Re. How do I change the sorting order so that the Select Name box
displays
names
by *last* name (when in creating new e-mail, after pressing "To" and a
list
appears) "Select Name" box.
Russ - thanks for your instructions. I applied the solution provided for
the previous problem, and it worked. Now, I have a subsequent problem...
What I really wanted was the *sorting* of the names to be by last name, so
I
can find them more quickly. Now, the Display Name column shows names as
Last, First -- even though, for each of the individual conact entries, I
had
specifically entered (a while back) the names to be displayed, when
emailing,
as First Last (by typing the first and last name when I entered email data
for each new contact).
What do I do to organize the Select Names window (Name cloumn) by Last,
First while keeping the Display Name as First Last?
THANKS!
