Archiving works on the last modified date so if you have moved, opened,
accessed the items in any way, the modified date changes to the current date
and will not archive.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, CAMC1 asked:

| We have auto-archive anything older then 6months, archiving back to
| exchange server drive. But it doesn't seem to work. I manually try to
| run from outlook, it shows it is running, but when I open my
| Archive.pst files, all folders there but no e-mails archived. I know
| I have e-mails older then a year, I verified my archive path is
| correct, I can drag and drop e-mails to archive folder no problem.
