Default Help settin up new account

I don't know NTL's method but their policy seems to be to just have the user
name, some used to require ever - I think freeserve used to
do that.

SO check the spelling again, try both xxx in the username box and
(Or whatever your email address is) and see what happens. Check
that you have not typed commas (Easy to miss sometimes) instead of periods
and make sure caps lock is off when typing the password. If some letter in
the PW are upper case then you must use upper case.

You might also go here and try changing the password, if you are not allowed
to then you know something is wrong and maybe the quickest thing would be to
call their tech support.

From this it looks like your name in OE might have to have @ntlworld.com
stuck on the end of it...

this keeps coming up :

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was
rejected. Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or
password.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90,
Error Number: 0x800CCC92 can anyone help ?

The error says "invalid user name or password".
Are these both correct and as agreed with NTL?
