Default Can I "globally" change time of large number of individual mee

I played around with various changes to the raw .vcs file to try to adjust the time zone, but couldn't get it to work consistently. The easiest solution I know is to use Simon Rundell's calendar from http://www.fathersimon.org.uk/calendar/ instead. The .ics version imported just fine for me in the Eastern (U.S.) time zone.

I don't know why the .vcs files don't work better. As the page at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...235831033.aspx explains, the dates are expressed with as UTC, but the TZ element should provide the right offset. I tried taking out the TZ and changing the time from T080000Z to T050000Z. That worked only on about half the items and still didn't produce true all-day events. It may be that the vCal import in Outlook is just flawed, but the iCal works much better.

Thanks for taking the time to work with this. Here is the URL for the entire

Whose lectionary data are you importing? I know of a couple of different sources. It might be easier for me to test with the whole original data.

Here is one of the events in question: can you guide me to the data that need
to be altered to make the event all day instead of a 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. (it
was actually 3:00 for some, 2:00 for others)

ONE OF THE EVENTS FROM THE ICS FILE:

BEGIN:VEVENT
SUMMARY:William Laud, Archbishop of Canterbury, 1645
DTSTART:20060110T080000Z
CATEGORIES:Church
DESCRIPTION;CHARSET=ISO-8859-1;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Year B /
II=0D=0AEpiphany=0D=0AGreen=0D=0AReadings:=0D=0APs alm 73:24-29 or Psalm
16:5-11=0D=0AHebrews 12:5-7,11-14=0D=0AMatthew 10:32-39=0D=0A
END:VEVENT

If you want to go back to the .ics file, try opening it in Notepad and doing a search and replace, perhaps for the time zone.

"Revlee" wrote in message news An imported iCal calendar file scheduled 247 individual meetings for 3:00
a.m. - the events should be "all day." I can't change them as a series since
they are indivudual, not "recurring." Is there a way to select and edit them
all, or must I update 247 individual events? (They ARE in a single, unique
category.)
