Close Outlook. rename extend.dat to extend.old and reopen Outlook.

After furious head scratching, Westaradg asked:

| I have Office Professional Edition 2003 with Business Contact
| Manager. When I open Outlook I receive an error box that states:

| The file add-in "MINET.ECF" is missing or is not valid.

| It then suggests using the detect/repair fucntion from the help menu.
| So I used it, then closed out completely and restarted Outlook only
| to get the same results.

| Can anyone tell me what that means or what I need to do? It doesn't
| seem to prevent the program from running after I acknowledge it but I
| don't want to get to involved entering contacts until I know it's
| safe etc. Thank you.
