Automatic Formatting and Public Folder Calendar
I must be completely dumb because I cannot get this to work. Hopefully
someone else can tell me what I am doing wrong. Here is the scenario.
Using MS Outlook 2003
MS Exchange 2003
Have a Calendar in a Public Folder
I am the owner
Several different people have to enter items into the calendar
Our management team wants the entries color coded so they can easily see
who made the entries by the color. I have set up the automatic formatting to
assign the color based on which user made the entry, this works fine on my pc
but not on other users. I have looked at the forums and created a custom
view and copied it to the public calendar, all of the descriptions and rules
get applied but the color coding does not work. The color remains white even
though I can view the automatic formatting rules for the public calendar and
see the rules. None of the coloring is carrying over with the rules and the
form/views. What am I missing or is this not possible. It seems to be such
a simple thing but I am stumped. Currently we are using labels to do this
but our management team wants the formatting to be automatic without users
having to select the label.
