If you want unfettered access to Outlook's fields, start the merge from
Outlook.

Starting from MS Word, as suggested to me, I get in the merged letter all

data of contacts out of the nemase containend in the field "Names".
Also in the choice menu where I can select the ones I want merge they do
not
appear.
The option of inserting a single address, it works.
