Default Outlook 2003 crash with IMAP

try closing outlook and deleting the imap pst - it will be rebuilt with
copies of messages on the server. logging would be helpful - you can see if
it connects to the server before crashing or crashes before it even speaks
to the server. Also, is the account authentication configured correctly? You

Please help. Outlook 2003 SP2 is crashing most of the time while
trying to contact our local IMAP server with send/receive. It's
crashing hard in outlook.exe, asking to send error report.

Logging is disabled as I googled this as a possible source for
crashes. I reinstalled Outlook with no success and the PST file was
checked with scanpst.exe.

It is not crashing all but most of the time.

Any clue for me ?
