WHat were you doing just before this?

I have read that if I key in .DBX
they may be found and I did this and found about 300. I tried to open
one with Word but that didnt work. I then tried to import them back
into my OE but when I tried to use the Brows for folder facility the
search folder was not to be seen.

DBX files and Outlook Express are off-topic in a newsgroup dedicated to
Office Outlook. Ask in an appropriate newsgroup like
