What options have you set in Windows? Control Panel-Regional Options as
well as Keyboard?

After furious head scratching, Remy asked:

| I have set all options in my outlook to display UK as the default
| language for spell checking (i have word as the email editor and have
| set the language in Word separately as UK). I also have the option set
| to check spelling before sending emails, but everytime the spell check
| dialog box appears and highlights an error in the subject field its
