Default OE 6.0 and Hotmail

NEVER post or use your real email address in a public newsgroup or forum!

I am assuming was one of the four accounts
that previously worked OK in OE.

...If I go on the internet
and on MSN, go to hotmail and put in this email address and password, it
works fine, but not in OE 6.0.

You're using a different server at www.hotmail.com than you are in OE,
Clorey, so that doesn't matter.

Try this: IE (yes, IE) Tools Internet Options Privacy Sites type in

hotmail.com
(and) windowslive.com

Then Allow Cookies for each one, in turn.

That being said, not everyone can successfully run more than one Hotmail
account in OE. If the problem persists, use another Identity for this
account.

Hello,
I have been using 4 hotmails accounts for many years (7?) and have never
had
a problem before now. I switched over to Outlook and have been using it
for
a couple of weeks. I was having a problem with one hotmail account (I
couldn't get it to work) (I was always being asked for the password). I
have now switched back to OE 6.0 and everything is fine, except for this
one account. It is, . Why do I keep being
asked
for the password, what is wrong with this account? If I go on the internet
and on MSN, go to hotmail and put in this email address and password, it
works fine, but not in OE 6.0. I am very frustrated about this and hope
that someone knows the answer.
