Updating OE files in my laptop
Glad to hear you "found" them and thanks for the feedback since we'd always
be wondering. Good luck.

No sea monkey BUT it must have bittenmeand infected my mind. I went
back to the folder and it is full of .eml files. I have no idea how I
got confused but I am really sorry.

Is the "folder" on your Desktop just a shortcut to the "real" folder?
Honestly, I have no idea why you cannot see the files within the folder.
There are programs that allow paranoid users to Hide folders such as:
http://www.fspro.net/hide-folders-xp/
but quite frankly, I really don't
know
what your problem may be. Sorry.
Do you perhaps have "Sea Monkey" for Mail installed?

Thanks Jim.
First I should say that I have set my folder preferences to be able to
see hidden files without regard to their extension.
second, I know the files got into the folder since I get the message
"This folder already cintains a file named .........Would you like to
replace the existing file xxxx kb modified on dd/mm/yyyy time with
this one? xxxx kb modified on dd/mm/yyyy time".
I created the folder in Windows explorer and then dragged it to the
desktop.
