It is possible that you are going through an Exchange server which is
resetting the format to Rich Text Format (RTF). I don't know why some
businesses set up their servers that way.

when i send an encrypted e-mail message from outlook 2003 to outlook

i receive the following message error:
"message could not be displayed.
outlook express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying

message. check your computer for low memory or low disk space and
try
again."
anyone know how to resolve this issue?

If the mail was sent from Outlook using Outlook's RTF format then Outlook
Express will have problems with it. Change your format in Outlook to
plain
text. If you don't know how to do that ask in an Outlook newsgroup.
