Sorry for the confusion - we also tried the File-Open- but it didn't seem
to do anything. Any other suggestions? Thanx!

I never said to import. I said that was probably the cause of the
duplication.
Importing 1.2GB will sure do something but it's going to take a very long

Hi Randy:

Thanks for the reply - that isn't working - he tried to import "Outlook"
that was 1.2Gig and it didn't do anything. Any other suggestions? Thanx!

Reinstalling doesn't affect any settings. Most likely he chose to import
from OE as well. To connect to a previous folder set use File- Open-

A colleague of mine recently reinstalled his Outlook 2003. He found that
all
his original Outlook inbox was replaced by emails that were in his
outlook
express. Can some one be kind enough to provide some guidance on how he
may
be able to get those old mail folders back? Could the old folders
possibly
be
under C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook?

Thanx!
