Default Message could not be displayed

When I search for messages in my sent folder, then try to read them from the
results window, I get the following error...

Message could not be displayed
Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

....however, it works when I search the delete or any other folder. The MS
site turned up the following possibility, but it does not apply...

This issue can occur if you are using an Internet Message Access Protocol
(IMAP) e-mail account, and your connection to this account is dropped.

The sent folder is the only one causing issues....
I've got 200GB free and 2MB RAM. What cause this problem?
