Default Why dont Active appointments show on calender

It appears when I sync my mobile phone with pc, any additional appointments
that are transferred onto calender in outlook, only appear in "Active
Appointments" section of calender, and not on the main calender listed as
"Day/Week/month View".

Any ideas why?
