After furious head scratching, asked:

| O.S: Windows XP SP2
| MS Office: Office 2003.

| Whenver someone sends me meeting notices, my calendar gets updated
| automatically without any alert to accept or reject the notice.
| I checked with other people and they are getting alerts to accept or
| reject the notice.

| Any suggestions how to get meeting alerts and stop them updating my
| calendar.
