Copying over e-mail messages

Close OE, find the folder via Windows Explorer, right click and rename
just like you would any other folder on your machine.

And then the name of the default folder in OE will also be changed?

Steve, You can rename the default folders.
But I did plan to tell them about OEX and forgot to paste the link
and say .... OR you can use this, which would make things much
simpler! Kath
How do you rename the default folders?

I don't think you can rename the default folders. Maybe, but I'd
instead create a folder on each machine called Xfer (or somesuch).
Then copy the messages one wishes to share between machines to the
Xfer folder. Then overwrite the xfer.dbx file on the machine to
which one is importing and then dump those messages somewhere and
then the process can be used in reverse.
Its much easier however to use my OEX program which allows one to
just point to the dbx file on the other machine (such as Sent Items)
and then click a button to import it into the current message store.

That's how I get my sent items from the laptop to the desktop.
