There's a trick to sending to some, but not all, of the members of a
group in Outlook Express.
- Start the mail as usual and enter the group in the TO (or CC or BCC)
field.
- But instead of sending the message, click the X in the upper right
hand corner of the message window and click YES when asked if you want
to save the message.
- Then go to your DRAFTS folder. You'll find the message there. Double
click it to open in a message composition window.
- You'll find that the group name has been replaced by the list of
e-mail addresses. You can highlight and delete the unwanted one. Also
delete the extra semicolon that is left over for separating that name
for the adjacent one.
- You can now send the message as normal.
