You're only allowed in a Personal Folder file to have 65535 items in a
folder. How many contacts were you trying to import?

I followed all the steps to a tee importing contact information from
excel to outlook (xp 02). I named all columns, followed all the import
wizard
steps, halfway thru I recieved an error message & outlook closed. (this
happened on 2 bus. computers). When I tried to manually enter a contact -

recieved the "folder is full" message. Also - when I pull up my contact
folder - in catagories view - it is displayed like this: catagories:
(none)
(65535 items). I tried to right click and delete the items to which I
recieve another error message and outlook again restarts. HELP!!
